Mr. Alejandro Espi

Lower Secondary Science and IGCSE Year 2 / Biology

Alejandro Espi is a biology enthusiast and an experienced Science teacher who has been working at SIBS Chiang Mai since August 2019. He is a holder of a Joint Master Degree in Aquaculture, Environment and Society, an MSc in Clinical Microbiology and a BSc in Biological Sciences, having studied in the UK, Spain, Greece, Brazil and France. During his time at university, he was awarded numerous scholarships due to academic merit.
After years of doing research, he decided to become a science teacher to prepare the new generations to become future leaders that solve the problems of the coming era. During his classes, he implements a student centred learning approach and stresses the importance of being critical thinker, He believes that education is an open door to new possibilities and that should be available to everyone independently of race, gender and background.
