Miss Amy has a wide range of experience working with children in the Early Years. She holds a PGCEI from the University of Nottingham UK and is currently pursuing her Master Degree in Early Years Childhood Education. She has a BA (Hons) in Creative Practice and a level one certificate in Deaf and Blind Awareness. Ms Amy has worked in Early Years education, internationally for the past 10 years and is currently the Kindergarten Principal at SIBS Chiang Mai. Ms Amy has worked at SIBS for 7 years, supporting the development and learning of all children. Ms Amy is committed to child centred learning, through a play based curriculum. During her career she has introduced child-led sensory workshops and outdoor nature provision based on forest school approaches and principles connecting children to the outdoor environment. Outside of school, Amy enjoys the theater, reading, woodland walks, visiting art galleries and is currently writing and illustrating ideas for children’s literature.
