Ms. Ekaterina Surzhenko

Homeroom teacher Year 4 and School Counselor


Ms. Ekaterina was born and raised in Russia and has been living and teaching in Thailand for about 4 years. She graduated from the Moscow State University, clinical psychology department in 2004 and now she is pursuing her PGCE International in the University of Nottingham. Ms. Ekaterina has been working both in Thai Private and Bilingual Schools as an ESL teacher.
As an educator and a psychologist she strongly believes that human personality development occurs under the influence of heredity and the environment and does her best to provide a safe and engaging environment within the classroom to make her students literally school addicted. Ms. Ekaterina is convinced that you will never fall in love with learning if you feel tension or anxiety or don’t have any friends among your classmates. She is implementing her psychological experience on a daily basis to teach her students how to resolve the conflicts, to increase their motivation and to make them engaged to achieve outstanding academic goals.
