Welcome to SIBS Primary!

SIBS Primary is the cornerstone of a child’s educational experience. It is the bedrock of forming and shaping a student in order to prepare them to have the core skills that can aid them as they shape their directions in life. We provide all students the tools they need to attain the skills, knowledge and experience to assist them in their development as they learn from our Lower Primary Years 1 – 3 and our Upper Primary Years 4 – 6.

Here at our Cambridge Primary school we provide an international curriculum with tools and elements that allows us to define and make a tailored made learning experience to the students and their needs. We also focus on the safety and wellbeing of all our Primary students and aim to provide a loving and nurturing environment. Which will aid in their personal development as they learn to assess and focus on their own learning stages.

Here are some key features of our Primary School Programme:

Active Learning: Our pedagogical approach allows us to to deliver an inquiry based learning style and direct instruction. Students are able to engage deeply in lessons, build confidence in themselves and acknowledge their responsibility in their learning process.

Language Learning: It is said that statistically when a child learns multiple languages, they can have an expansive ability to attain better memory and recognize patterns easily. SIBS Primary students attend additional Thai and Mandarin language courses. Students also participate in Thai and other cultural events throughout the year. We also offer English as an Additional Language (EAL) support where students are assessed on their level of English through diagnostic assessment and classroom performance indicators. If a student is identified as requiring additional support in English, a nominal fee is required.

Learning Environment: Our class sizes allow teachers to provide individual attention to students and allow a dynamic learning environment. Classrooms are equipped with materials, math manipulatives and technology that supports a students learning development.

Preparation for Secondary School: Our Cambridge International curriculum framework from Early Years to Primary gives Primary students the preparedness they require to confidently perform in their next level of learning. Students are able to make a smooth transition and are trained to be prepared for the changes they will face from Years 5 and 6 which executes a smooth transition into the Cambridge Secondary One Programme.

iPad Integration Programme: As we move forward in the transition to a modern technological world we promote the engagement, participation and learning of the benefits technology can provide in our daily lives. The iPad supplied by parents for their children can ensure he/she can participate fully and take an active role in learning with technology as an additional tool. Preparing students for their future in a fast changing world.
