Mr. Hercules is an experienced art and design teacher, arts facilitator and artist from South Africa. He holds an Honours degree in History of Art from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and an Advanced University Diploma in Visual Arts (postgraduate) from the University of South Africa (UNISA). In 2011, obtained a teaching certificate from the University of Cambridge (CELTA).
Mr. Hercules has worked in the South African art museum / heritage sector for many years (Johannesburg Art Gallery, Margate Municipal Art Museum, Craft Council of South Africa etc.), and has been involved in many educational arts outreach programmes; notably with marginalised and vulnerable groups in correctional facilities and unemployed women in rural areas. He worked as an art teacher at the Stellenbosch Waldorf School in South Africa, and also taught art and drama at UCSI International School in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. He is a practicing artist with artwork in the UNISA (University of South Africa) and Margate Municipal Museum art collections.
