Mr. Daniel Clinton

History

Mr Daniel (Dan) Clinton is from Birmingham, England. He received his Bachelors of Arts in History from the University of Liverpool. He has been teaching in a range of different educational settings since 2009.

Before he moved to Thailand he taught English in England, the Republic of Georgia, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand. He taught English at British Council Chiang Mai from January 2016 to June 2020. He has taught English, Geography, Politics, Maths, and PE. He returned to England in August 2020 to complete his PGCE in History, which is his true passion.

He strives to emphasise to his students that History is the narrative stories of humanity: the study of History can develop the connections between different people across the planet and periods of history, like small pieces in a massive jigsaw puzzle.

In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, watching films and TV series, watching football, travelling, scuba diving and keeping fit.
