Andrew is from Durban, South Africa. He studied Marketing and Psychology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He taught IT at a high school for 7 years before working in the industry as a developer and IT manager. He has recently moved to Thailand in 2022 to pursue his teaching career.

His teaching philosophy emphasizes skills over content. In the IT field, the tools and methods we use change very quickly. Therefore an individual who is adaptable and has the skills to figure things out will be at an advantage. He hopes to engender these flexible problem solving skills in learners, and that they will be valuable life-long.

He enjoys hiking, photography, and board games.
