Ms. Tugba Diyar

Art Teacher

Ms. Tugba Diyar received her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Bogazici University, and her Master of Arts in English Studies from Free University of Berlin, Germany. She has been living in Thailand for the last 2 years. Coming from a family of educators she has decided to pursue her lifelong passion for teaching and art and is very excited about her future at SIBS.

Her teaching philosophy is based on creating a safe and welcoming environment within which students can freely express themselves and appreciate others without judging or feeling judged. She's keen in cultivating individual growth and a sense of solidarity among students while teaching Art.

She believes in holistic growth for students where emotional, creative and academic growth is closely knitted and aims to help students to grow through practicing Art.
